In 1927, the same year Lindbergh made his famous flight from New York to Paris, Arthur Holly Compton earned the Nobel Prize in Physics for his study of how high energy radiation is scattered by electrons.

VIDEO:
The video starts with a photo of Compton in a group that includes Albert Einstein. There is a news clip of Compton receiving the Nobel Prize. The last clip is of Compton at a chalk board.
