Imagine the Universe!

Aki's Big Question

Is there life outside the Earth (intelligent or otherwise)?

I actually believe that the answer to this question is "yes." And I'd love to know what life that's different from us might be like. It's fascinating for its own sake. And knowledge of different life provides context for Earth life, including us. Comparison is a crucial part of human inquiry; we often define ourselves by our similarities and differences with other Earth animals. The ability to compare ourselves to truly different life forms will help us unravel all sorts of mysteries about ourselves and our origins.
