TI-82 Graphics calculator instructions
for matrix operations used in this lesson
Entering Data in Matrices:
- From the home screen, press [MATRX] and arrow to the right to
(EDIT), then press [ENTER].
- Type 6 then press [ENTER], then 5 then press [ENTER].
- Repeat both steps for all five (A-E) matrices.
Adding or Subtracting Matrices:
- From the home screen, press [MATRX], press the number of the
matrix wanted, then press [ENTER].
- Press a [+] or [-], depending on the wanted operation.
- Press [MATRX], press the number of the matrix wanted to add or
subtract with the first matrix, then press [ENTER].
- Press [ENTER] to obtain an answer in matrix form
