The rest of the video shows data collected by the BATSE experiment.  It detected about 1 gamma-ray burst a day for nearly 9 years.  This movie shows the locations, in galactic coordinates, of the first few hundred bursts that BATSE detected.  The burst locations are randomly located in the sky.
