Primary Science

The International Gamma-Ray Astrophysics Laboratory, or INTEGRAL for short, was designed to study celestial gamma-ray sources in the 15 keV to 10 MeV energy range. INTEGRAL was the first space observatory that can simultaneously observe objects in gamma-rays, X-rays and visible light.
