Cosmic rays consist of all the natural elements. See if you can distinguish the properties of some of these elements.

Sample information from the periodic table for the element "Helium":

Solid: cube

Liquid: water drop

Gas: balloon

Helium, atomic number=2, atomic mass=4.002

Use the information for the elements given below to answer the questions.

Platinum, atomic number=78, atomic mass=195.08 Mercury, atomic number=80, atomic mass=200.59 Lead, atomic number=82, atomic mass=207.2
