Primary Science

The primary science goal of TD-1A was to make an all-sky ultraviolet survey of the sky. Onboard X-ray and gamma-ray detectors would make all-sky surveys as well.

Science Highlights

  • Completed two full scans of the whole sky, mapping about 95% of the full sky.
